Genuine Mazda FB01-28-155 Rear Anti-Roll Bar D-Bush Mounting Bracket
Replacement Genuine Mazda rear anti-roll-bar bush mounting bracket for Mazda MX-5 Mk1 NA, Mk2/Mk2.5 NB and Mk3/Mk3.5/Mk3.75 NC models.
The pressed-metal bracket fits over the rear anti-roll-bar D-bush and bolts to the rear suspension crossmember or subframe. It retains the rubber bush firmly around the anti-roll bar while allowing the bush to support and isolate the bar during suspension movement.
The rear anti-roll bar links the movement of the left- and right-hand rear suspension. Secure bush brackets are required to locate the bar correctly and prevent unwanted movement at its chassis mounting points.
The original bracket is exposed beneath the vehicle and can corrode heavily over time. Rust may weaken or distort the bracket, affect the way it clamps the rubber bush or make the mounting bolts difficult to remove.
The same bracket fits the left- and right-hand rear anti-roll-bar mounting positions. Two brackets are fitted per vehicle, and this listing supplies one Genuine Mazda bracket. Select a quantity of two when replacing both sides.
Important component note: This listing is for the metal retaining bracket only. The rubber anti-roll-bar bush, mounting bolts, anti-roll bar and drop links are not included.
Corrosion-protection advice: Mazda supplies this bracket without a substantial corrosion-resistant coating. Applying a suitable protective paint or coating before installation is recommended. Avoid excessive coating thickness inside the bush profile or mounting holes.

Fitment advice: This bracket is shared across several MX-5 generations, but the rubber D-bush fitted beneath it varies according to model, anti-roll-bar diameter and suspension specification. Select the rubber bush separately for the exact vehicle and anti-roll-bar arrangement.
Replacement advice: Inspect both brackets and bushes before dismantling. Brackets should normally be replaced as a pair where both show similar corrosion. Check the anti-roll bar beneath each bush for rust, scoring or reduction in diameter.
Other items to consider: Inspect the rear anti-roll-bar bushes, bracket bolts, captive threads, anti-roll bar, rear drop links and nearby subframe mounting areas. Consider purchasing replacement bushes, bolts and protective coating where the originals are worn or corroded.
Useful tools / consumables: Vehicle lift or axle stands, socket and spanner set, calibrated torque wrench, penetrating fluid, wire brush, thread-cleaning equipment and suitable corrosion-resistant primer and paint.
Difficulty guide: DIY Difficulty: Easy to Moderate. The bracket is accessible beneath the rear of the vehicle, but seized fasteners or corroded captive threads can increase the difficulty considerably.
Why Genuine Mazda? Genuine Mazda anti-roll-bar brackets are manufactured to match the original bush profile, mounting-hole spacing and rear crossmember attachment points. Correct dimensions help clamp the rubber bush evenly without excessive compression or unwanted anti-roll-bar movement.
What’s in the box: One Genuine Mazda rear anti-roll-bar D-bush mounting bracket, part number FB01-28-155.
Installation notes: Raise and support the vehicle securely before working beneath the rear suspension. Apply penetrating fluid to corroded mounting bolts and clean the surrounding area. Support the anti-roll bar before removing the bracket. Note the position and orientation of the rubber bush, then inspect the bar, bush and mounting surface. Apply suitable corrosion protection to the replacement bracket and allow it to cure before installation. Refit the bush and bracket without trapping or twisting the rubber, start both bolts by hand and tighten them evenly to the applicable Mazda specification. Repeat on the opposite side where replacing the pair and road-test the vehicle to check for suspension noise.
