The rear brace bar is fitted around the rear subframe and lower suspension-arm structure. It forms part of the factory underbody bracing arrangement, helping tie the rear suspension mounting area into the surrounding chassis structure.

There are two matching rear brace bars fitted per vehicle. This listing supplies one Genuine Mazda brace bar, so two are required when replacing both sides. Mounting bolts are supplied separately.
