Cobra Sport resonated cat-back performance exhaust for Mazda MX-5 Mk4 / ND 1.5 and 2.0 models from 2015 onwards applications listed in the compatibility table.
The MZ15 is Cobra Sport's resonated, standard-exit cat-back system for the fourth-generation Mazda MX-5. It fits from the second catalytic-converter section rearwards and replaces the original centre and rear exhaust sections, giving a complete performance exhaust upgrade while retaining the conventional rear exhaust exit position.
The system uses 2.5" / 63.5 mm mandrel-bent T304 stainless-steel pipework and TIG-welded construction. Unlike the non-resonated MZ16 version, the MZ15 incorporates a centre silencer. Cobra Sport describes the resonated configuration as having a subtler but still sporty exhaust tone.

Exhaust configuration: This is the resonated MZ15 version and includes a centre silencer. The equivalent non-resonated MZ16 system omits this silencer and is the louder configuration.

Fitment advice: Designed for Mazda MX-5 Mk4 / ND 1.5 and 2.0 models from 2015 onwards. This is a complete cat-back system replacing both the centre and rear sections. During installation, loosely assemble and align the complete exhaust before fully tightening the joints so the pipework sits without strain and the selected tailpipe is correctly positioned within the standard bumper opening.
Other items to consider: Inspect the existing exhaust mounting rubbers and adjoining flange area during installation and replace worn mounting components where necessary.

Installation / setup notes: The exhaust fits from the second catalytic-converter section rearwards. Assemble the exhaust with the joints initially loose, position the system without pre-loading the exhaust hangers, align the selected tailpipe within the original bumper opening and then tighten all connections securely.
Warranty: Cobra Sport currently offers a lifetime guarantee to the original purchaser on eligible car exhaust systems when registered online with Cobra Sport within 28 days of receipt, subject to its published terms and exclusions. Products not registered within 28 days are subject to Cobra Sport's standard one-year manufacturing warranty. The separately supplied TP102-CF carbon-fibre tailpipe is stated by Cobra Sport to carry a one-year warranty.
