Exedy SC908 Clutch Release / Slave Cylinder
Replacement Exedy clutch slave cylinder for Mazda MX-5 MK3 / MK3.5 / MK3.75 NC 1.8 and 2.0 manual-transmission models listed in the compatibility table.
The clutch slave cylinder forms part of the hydraulic clutch-release system. Hydraulic pressure generated by the clutch master cylinder moves the slave-cylinder piston, which operates the clutch release fork and allows the clutch to disengage when the pedal is pressed.
The cylinder is mounted externally on the gearbox. One slave cylinder is used per vehicle and SC908 is designed as an aftermarket replacement for the original cylinder on the applications listed.
