Mishimoto MMRAD-MIA-99 is a direct-fit performance aluminium radiator for Mazda MX-5 MK2 / NB and MK2.5 / NB-FL 1.6 and 1.8 models with manual transmission, designed to provide increased cooling capacity over the original radiator.
Constructed entirely from aluminium, the Mishimoto radiator replaces the original plastic-and-aluminium style unit with a two-row brazed aluminium core and TIG-welded aluminium end tanks. The increased core thickness provides greater coolant volume and heat-transfer area for road, modified and track-focused MX-5 applications.
Mishimoto publishes an increase of up to 30% in cooling efficiency compared with a standard radiator for this specific product. This is a manufacturer-published performance figure and actual cooling performance will depend on the vehicle, cooling system and operating conditions.
The radiator has been designed around the original Mazda mounting arrangement, allowing installation without cutting or permanent modification. It is supplied with a Mishimoto 1.3 bar high-pressure radiator cap and magnetic drain plug.

The radiator is designed as a direct-fit replacement using the original vehicle mounting arrangement.
