Mishimoto MMHOSE-MIA-99 is a two-piece black silicone radiator hose kit designed as a direct-fit upgrade for Mazda MX-5 MK2 / MK2.5 NB models from 1998-2005 with 1.6 and 1.8 litre engines.
The kit replaces the vehicle's two main radiator hoses – upper and lower – with reinforced Mishimoto silicone hoses designed for use within the engine cooling system.
Each hose uses high-grade silicone combined with heat-resistant embedded fibres, providing increased resistance to the heat, pressure and ageing commonly experienced by conventional rubber coolant hoses. The moulded design follows the original hose routing for an OEM-style replacement fit.
The hoses are suitable for use with the original-style radiator arrangement and are also compatible with the corresponding Mishimoto Mazda Miata / MX-5 radiator.

Fitment
Suitable for naturally aspirated Mazda MX-5 MK2 / NB and MK2.5 / NB-FL 1.6 and 1.8 models. Mishimoto specifically states that this hose kit is not suitable for Mazdaspeed Miata models.
Installation involves draining the cooling system, removing the original upper and lower radiator hoses, fitting the replacement hoses and correctly refilling and bleeding the cooling system. Existing hose clamps should be inspected for condition during installation and replaced where necessary.
