Powerflex PFR36-405 Rear Trailing Arm Front Bushes - Position 5 - Pack of 2

Replacement Powerflex rear trailing arm front bushes for Mazda MX-5 MK3 / MK3.5 / MK3.75 NC (2005-2015) models listed in the compatibility table. This part is shown as position 5 on the Powerflex suspension bush diagram.

These polyurethane bushes are fitted to the front mounting points of the rear trailing arms, helping reduce unwanted suspension movement and maintain more consistent rear wheel control under acceleration, braking and cornering. They are designed as aftermarket replacements for the original rubber components.

Two bushes are required per vehicle, with one fitted on each side of the rear suspension. This product is supplied as a pack of 2 bushes, providing the complete quantity required for one vehicle.

Ageing original rubber trailing arm bushes can soften, split or deteriorate over time. Typical symptoms can include reduced rear-end precision, unwanted suspension movement, knocking noises, inconsistent handling or changes in rear wheel alignment under load.

Useful tools / consumables: Suitable vehicle lifting equipment, socket and spanner set, torque wrench, penetrating fluid, bush removal / installation tools where required, cleaning materials and the supplied Powerflex assembly lubricant where applicable.

Difficulty guide: DIY Difficulty: Moderate to Advanced. The rear trailing arm must be released from its mounting and the original bush removed. Suitable bush removal and installation equipment will make the job considerably easier.
