Powerflex PFF36-607 Door Stop Bush Kit - Pack of 2

Replacement Powerflex polyurethane door stop bushes for Mazda MX-5 MK1 / NA, MK2 / NB, MK3 / NC and MK4 / ND models listed in the compatibility table. This part is commonly shown as position 12 on Powerflex application diagrams.

These uprated polyurethane door stops replace the original rubber stops fitted between the door and body. Their firmer construction helps locate the closed door more securely, reducing unwanted movement, vibration and rattling from worn or softened original rubber components.

Two door stop bushes are used per vehicle, with one fitted to each door. This product is supplied as a pack of 2 bushes, providing the complete quantity required for one vehicle.

Original rubber door stops can soften and deteriorate with age, allowing additional door movement when closed. This can contribute to rattles, vibration and unwanted noise through the body and door trim. A firmer door location can also help reduce vibration around door-mounted speakers.

Fitment advice: Designed for the Mazda MX-5 generations listed in the compatibility table. The original mounting bolts and washers are retained and reused during installation. For imported, modified or previously repaired cars, matching the original door stop mounting arrangement before installation is recommended.

Other items to consider: While replacing the door stops, inspect the door hinges, hinge fasteners, striker mechanism, weather seals and surrounding door trim for wear, looseness or deterioration.

Installation notes: Remove the original rubber door stop but retain the original bolts and washers. Clean any dirt or corrosion from the mounting area and install the new polyurethane stop with its curved profile facing towards the outside of the car. Initially tighten the bolts only enough to hold the bush in position, gently close the door to allow the stop to locate correctly, then reopen the door and fully tighten the mounting bolts. Repeat on the opposite side.
