The dispersion-based formulation penetrates existing corrosion and reacts with iron oxide to form a stable, insoluble blue-black metal-organic complex. This stops the active corrosion process and creates an improved surface for subsequent refinishing and protective coatings.

Surface Preparation
The surface must be clean, dry and free from grease. Remove loose rust, loose paint and dirt using a wire brush, scraper or other suitable preparation tool before application.
How to Use
Apply one thin, even coat using a brush or roller, avoiding runs or excessive build-up. Allow the rust converter to react for a minimum of approximately 3 hours. The treated surface can then be overpainted with a suitable water-based or solvent-based metal-protection coating between approximately 3 and 48 hours after application.
Important Application Note
Do not wash the converted surface with water after treatment. Immediately remove accidental product contamination from painted surfaces. Do not apply in direct sunlight, to surfaces above approximately +40°C or where there is a risk of frost. Protect the product from freezing. Apply as a single treatment rather than building multiple coats.
