Red Line 80319 Liquid Assembly Lube - 355ml
High-performance liquid assembly lubricant for new and rebuilt engines, transmissions, differentials and other compatible mechanical assemblies requiring protection before normal operating lubrication is established.
Red Line Liquid Assembly Lube is the liquid-format version of the chemistry used in Red Line's traditional Assembly Lube. It is designed to prevent metal-to-metal contact and wear during initial start-up before full oil pressure reaches critical components.
The formulation is suitable for application to bearings, camshafts, valvetrain components, pistons, piston rings, cylinder bores, bolt threads and other suitable engine parts. Red Line also specifies compatible transmission, differential, motorcycle, marine and industrial assembly applications.
Red Line states that the lubricant provides approximately three times the film strength of conventional black molybdenum disulphide greases while remaining compatible with the engine oil system and not plugging the oil filter after initial start-up.

- Restriction: Not intended for exhaust bolts or other high-temperature fasteners requiring anti-seize compound
Fitment advice: Liquid Assembly Lube is application-based rather than vehicle-specific. Use on compatible internal engine and drivetrain components during assembly where a high-film-strength lubricant is appropriate.
Engine assembly use: Apply an appropriate coating to bearings, camshafts, valvetrain components, pistons, rings, cylinder bores and other specified components during assembly to provide lubrication before normal engine oil circulation is established.
Storage protection: Red Line also highlights excellent rust and corrosion protection, making the product useful where a freshly assembled engine or component may be stored before being put into service.
Important application note: Do not use as a substitute for anti-seize on exhaust bolts or other fasteners exposed to extreme temperatures.
Other items to consider: When assembling an engine, you may also want to consider suitable engine oil, break-in additive or break-in oil, oil filter, seals, gaskets, fasteners and other engine-build consumables where required.
Useful tools / consumables: Clean assembly brushes or applicators, protective gloves, lint-free workshop towels, engine-cleaning solvent and suitable torque tools.
Difficulty guide: DIY Difficulty: Advanced. Applying the lubricant is straightforward, but correct use forms part of a complete engine or drivetrain assembly procedure that requires appropriate mechanical knowledge, cleanliness and torque control.
Why Red Line? Red Line Synthetic Oil is known for high-performance lubricants, fluids and additives developed for demanding road, track and motorsport use. Red Line products are chosen by enthusiasts, workshops and engine builders for their focus on protection, thermal stability, friction control and application-specific performance.
What’s in the bottle: One 355ml / 12 US fl oz bottle of Red Line Liquid Assembly Lube.
Service notes: Apply only to clean assembly surfaces and use the appropriate quantity for the component being assembled. After initial start-up, follow the engine or drivetrain builder's recommended running-in and lubricant-change procedure.
