The Power Plant Frame, commonly abbreviated to PPF, is the rigid aluminium beam connecting the gearbox to the rear differential. It helps maintain the correct alignment and relationship between the engine, gearbox and differential while transmitting drivetrain loads through the vehicle.

This top-hat-shaped spacer fits around the stepped mounting bolt at the front of the differential. It provides the correct location and clamping arrangement between the PPF, differential housing and associated mounting hardware.

Important: This is the top-hat spacer used with the stepped mounting bolt at the front of the differential. It should not be confused with the separate flat washers used elsewhere in the PPF mounting assembly.

Fitment advice: Confirm that the vehicle retains the original Mazda Power Plant Frame, differential housing and stepped mounting-bolt arrangement. Modified drivetrain installations or replacement differential assemblies may use different hardware.
