Gasket advice: Inspect the separate lamp-to-body gasket during removal. A compressed, torn or incorrectly seated gasket may allow water into the luggage compartment even when the replacement lamp itself is sealed.

Moisture advice: Where the original lamp contains water or excessive condensation, inspect the body aperture, gasket, wiring entry and surrounding drainage area before fitting the replacement.
