Red Line specialist liquid assembly lubricant for engine, transmission, differential and drivetrain assembly applications where freshly assembled components require protection before normal lubrication is established.
Liquid Assembly Lube is the convenient liquid version of Red Line's established Assembly Lube chemistry. It is designed to coat potential wear surfaces during assembly, helping prevent metal-to-metal contact during initial start-up before the normal lubrication system has built sufficient pressure and flow.
Red Line recommends it for internal components including bearings, camshafts, valvetrain parts, pistons, rings, cylinder bores, suitable bolt threads and similar lubricated surfaces. It can also be used in transmissions, differentials and other related driveline components.
The formula provides approximately three times the film strength of conventional black molybdenum-disulphide greases, will not plug filters after initial engine start-up, and provides excellent rust and corrosion protection for newly assembled or stored components.
