Red Line 50605 MT-LV 70W/75W GL-4 Manual Transmission Gear Oil - 3.78L
Full-synthetic Red Line transmission lubricant for manual transmissions, transaxles and specifically supported transfer-case applications requiring SAE 70W/75W API GL-4 or an approved equivalent specification as listed in the compatibility table.
MT-LV is a low-viscosity ester-based transmission lubricant developed to provide strong gear and synchroniser protection while maintaining the friction characteristics needed for clean, positive synchroniser engagement.
The low-viscosity formulation helps reduce fluid drag and improve shifting in cold conditions while remaining shear-stable for consistent viscosity during extended use. Red Line specifically recommends MT-LV for a range of manual transmissions, transaxles and selected transfer cases requiring specialist low-viscosity gear oils.
MT-LV is safe for brass synchronisers and is recommended by Red Line for API GL-4, GL-3 and GL-1 applications as well as many special synchromesh fluids. It should not be used in hypoid differentials.

Fitment advice: Use MT-LV where SAE 70W/75W API GL-4 manual transmission oil or one of Red Line's specifically listed equivalent specifications is required. Some transfer cases are also specifically supported, but this product should not be selected for a differential simply because a similar viscosity is specified.
