V-Maxx 35mm Lowering Spring Kit - Mazda MX-5 Mk3 / Mk3.5 / Mk3.75 NC • 35 MA 51

Suitable for Mazda MX-5 Mk3 / NC Roadster and Roadster Coupé 1.8 and 2.0 models, 2005-2015.

V-Maxx 35 MA 51 is a progressive-rate sport lowering spring kit designed as an aftermarket suspension upgrade for the Mazda MX-5 NC. The complete kit provides an approximate 35mm reduction in ride height at the front and rear, giving the car a lower, more controlled suspension setup while retaining the existing dampers.

The springs are manufactured from quality chrome silicon steel and are shot-peened, zinc-phosphated and powder-coated to provide corrosion protection and durability.

Fitment advice: Published lowering figures are approximate. Actual ride height can vary depending on vehicle specification, factory suspension equipment, optional equipment and the condition of the existing suspension components. Adequate tyre, wheel and body clearance must be maintained throughout the full suspension travel. Depending on the wheel and tyre combination, additional clearance measures such as wheel spacers may be required.

Installation: The vehicle must be safely raised and supported before suspension work is carried out. Suspension fasteners should be tightened using the correct procedures and torque specifications, and suspension bushes should be tightened at normal ride height where required. Ride height and suspension travel should be checked after installation, followed by a full wheel alignment / geometry check.

Other items to consider: Inspect the existing dampers, bump stops, dust covers, top mounts, spring seats and suspension fixings while the suspension is dismantled. Worn components should be replaced as necessary before fitting the new springs.

Useful tools / consumables: Suitable vehicle lifting equipment and axle stands, spring compressors where required, torque wrench, general suspension hand tools and suitable penetrating lubricant.

Difficulty guide: Moderate to Advanced. Installation requires safe vehicle lifting, suspension disassembly, correct spring installation and torque procedures, followed by wheel alignment. Professional installation may be advisable where suitable equipment or suspension experience is not available.

Why V-Maxx? V-Maxx specialises in performance suspension and braking upgrades for enthusiast and performance vehicles. Its suspension range is developed to provide a practical balance between improved chassis control, reduced ride height and road usability, with application-specific kits designed around the vehicle they are intended to fit.

What’s included: Complete set of four V-Maxx lowering springs for the front and rear suspension.

Service notes: Check the condition of the existing dampers and associated suspension components before installation. After fitting, check tyre, wheel and body clearance throughout the suspension travel and carry out a full wheel-alignment / geometry check. Headlight aim should also be checked following a significant change in vehicle ride height.
