How to Use
Position the centring tip directly over the spot weld and drill at a controlled, consistent speed. Würth recommends a maximum speed of approximately 700rpm for the 8mm HSS version. Apply sufficient pressure to cut through the required panel layer without unnecessarily drilling through the underlying material.
Important Application Note
Do not use in drills with an impact chuck or spindle arrangement unsuitable for this type of drill bit. Excessive rotational speed can significantly reduce the service life of the centring tip. Always assess the panel construction and spot-weld size before drilling.
