The Competition Clutch Lightweight Steel Flywheel reduces rotating mass compared with the original flywheel, allowing the engine to respond more quickly to throttle inputs while retaining good low-speed torque characteristics and road drivability.

The flywheel mounts to the rear of the engine crankshaft and provides the friction surface used by the clutch assembly to transfer engine torque into the manual transmission. One flywheel is required per vehicle.

Installation notes: Ensure the crankshaft mounting face is clean and undamaged before installation. Inspect the clutch components while removed and follow the correct tightening sequence and torque specifications for the flywheel and clutch assembly.
