Würth Super RTV Silicone is a professional high-temperature adhesive and sealing compound for automotive and industrial gasket sealing, available here in Black, Red and Blue 200ml variants.
Designed for demanding sealing applications around engines, transmissions and other mechanical assemblies, Super RTV provides excellent resistance to engine oil, transmission oil, coolant and antifreeze. Its neutral-curing, non-acidic formulation is non-corrosive and suitable for use around electronic components and oxygen / lambda sensors when applied correctly.

Black – 08933311 / WRTVBL
The Black formulation provides temperature resistance from approximately -60°C to +260°C, with short-term resistance up to +300°C. Typical Würth applications include water pumps, oil pumps, front covers, camshaft bearing covers, thermostat housings, oil pans and transmission covers.
Red – 08933312
The Red formulation provides the highest temperature capability of these three options, with resistance from approximately -60°C to +315°C and short-term resistance up to +370°C. Typical applications include oil pumps, front covers, camshaft bearing covers, oil pans, transmission covers, exhaust manifolds, exhaust flanges and engine covers or flanges.
Blue – 08933313
The Blue formulation provides temperature resistance from approximately -60°C to +260°C, with short-term resistance up to +300°C. Typical Würth applications include oil pans, valve covers, rear axle housings, crankshaft housings, differential housings and camshaft bearing covers.
Surface Preparation
For optimum adhesion, surfaces should be dry, clean and free from dust, oil contamination and old sealing material. Completely remove the previous gasket or sealant before applying the new product.
How to Use
Apply a continuous and even bead to one mating surface. When sealing components such as oil pans or transmission housings, avoid allowing excess sealant to enter the component. Assemble the parts within the manufacturer's recommended working time and observe the required curing period before returning the assembly to service.
Important Application Note
Select the appropriate colour and formulation for the operating temperature and application. The Red version offers significantly greater high-temperature resistance than the Black and Blue versions. Always follow the relevant vehicle repair procedure and allow adequate curing time before exposing the seal to fluids, pressure or operating temperatures.
